** This is a free community event!** Old Crow Café will be serving its usual delicious drinks and snacks!
Every year, Vancouver Communities in Solidarity with Cuba (VCSC) participates in Pride events throughout the summer with a simple message - “Cuba says: LGBTQ+ rights are human rights.” Cuba is making huge strides in LGBTQ+ rights, where gender confirmation surgery is free, same-sex couples have the right to adopt, and Cuba's CENESEX or National Center for Sexual Education is not only responsible for implementing the national sexual education and health programs for all, they are also working alongside the LGBTQ+ community in leading the struggle against homophobia and transphobia across Cuba. 
Join Vancouver Communities in Solidarity with Cuba for an evening to celebrate the gains and the challenges of Cuba's LGBTQ+ community featuring music, film, speakers and trivia to learn more about the LGBTQ+ rights movement in Cuba!
