[Portlandabc] IMPORTANT: B2P may close

Hi Everyone,
             Sad news: After experiencing the theft of all our funds from
the B2P cash box last week, and now losing our project space - effective
immediately; Portland Books to Prisoners may be closing for good. We are
going to have a meeting to discuss liquidating all of our books and
materials on Tuesday, Nov.5th, 2013, tentatively set for 6:30pm. At this
point, it doesn't look promising. We really have nowhere to go and the
small amount of money that was stolen from us was all we had
to mail out books to prisoners. If you have suggestions for continuing the
book project, or ideas for somewhere to move the library, you are welcome
to attend this last meeting.

NE Morton, between Ainsworth & Dekum east of MLK.

Books To Prisoners is always in need of new or used dictionaries &
thesauruses! Bring donations of books to any of the drop boxes around
Portland: Red & Black Cafe, Laughing Horse Books, and In Other Words
Books.
