Counterprotest cancelled (?)
* There was a call for a counterprotest on Saturday, but it was announced
to be cancelled, including by CBC radio this afternoon.
* Currently however, there is still notice of the event + relevant details
pinned at https://reddit.com/r/ottawa, with at least one individual
organizer saying it is going ahead, and commenters saying they will still
be attending
* Local organizations that had been involved in the discussions around
planning the event have publicly stated safety concerns and advise people
to not attend - those org statements (posted on social media) are also
linked in the comments on the reddit post.
