*1. SOLIDARITY RALLIES*
If you're not able to attend the rally in Ottawa, why not consider taking
action in your own community? Maybe outside your local Conservative MP's
riding office? If you hold an event, rally, or action to oppose the Tory
National Convention on Friday, June 10th, let us know!
We aren't involved in organizing the below events, but we're excited
they're happening! Here are the events we know about for sure:
Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario
4:30pm, Friday, June 10th

Barrie, Ontario
Stop Harper Solidarity Rally
MP Patrick Brown's Office

*2. OTTAWA MARCH ROUTE & DETAILS*
The rally will begin promptly at 4:30pm in Dundonald Park, located here:
http://bit.ly/iksM6r. There will be speeches from both Denis Lemelin, the
President of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers, and Brigette dePape,
the 'Rogue Page'. Following this the march will leave the park at 5:00pm,
heading east on Somerset Street and headed towards the Conservative Party
National Convention.
Depending on factors such as traffic and the number of people
participating in the march, the route may alter slightly. But we will be
arriving at the Tory Convention for 6:30pm to coincide with Prime Minister
Harper's keynote address which begins at 7:00pm.
The total route distance is about 15 city blocks.
*3. WHAT TO BRING TO THE DEMO*

Drums, whistles, horns, things to make noise with (even pots and pans work!)
Water
Sunscreen, a hat
Comfortable walking shoes

The weather forecast for Ottawa on Friday, June 10th looks pretty great!
Warm and sunny! We're hoping there are a few people out there with some
experience doing street medic support during demonstrations to help us
ward of things like sunstroke, heat exhaustion, and dehydration.
If you have any prior experience as a street medic, drop us a line at
