We're happy to announce new things going on with Organizing For Justice:

We are shifting from our current FB group to a FB page because it allows us
to post status updates that will appear in people's news feeds, to be able
to easily circulate announcements about allied events and other notices
without sending out a ton of messages. PLEASE JOIN!!

2) and, THE BIG NEWS:*

*Organizing For Justice MayDay Weekend
Sat & Sun, May 1-2, 2010*

- starting both days at 12:30pm and running the afternoon (dinner included
on Sat)
- will feature discussions, workshop/skill-shares, cultural activities, and
info-tables
- being held at Jack Purcell Community Centre, near corner of Elgin and
Gilmour

Please mark your calendars and tell your friends!

We could also use some help in organizing...
- Before the conference: coordinating food; putting up posters; other
promotion
- During the conference: facilitating small group discussion; child-care;
ASL sign language interpretation; note-taking; billeting; preparing food
- Ongoing: organizing committee members; online forum moderators
