*INVITATION TO ALL OTTAWA ACTIVISTS*

**

Do you believe that the current economic and social system is fundamentally
flawed?

Do you feel frustrated by the inability of progressives to adequately
challenge what we are up against?

Do you want to join with other individuals in Ottawa from across diverse
sectors and organizations to be more strategic, more powerful, and
more-far-reaching?

*Come help create an Ottawa Assembly.*

Inspired by the Toronto Workers' Assembly, the Ottawa Assembly would bring
together individuals to build working class unity and solidarity defined
broadly and inclusively. The Assembly would seek to be more than a
coalition or network, and to organize and act to claim new ground, not only
defend previous gains.

*MONDAY, JULY 26th, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm (light supper will be served)*

*233 Gilmour Avenue, Wyllie Board Room, Main Floor, PSAC Building*

At this meeting, we will engage in meaningful and focused discussions about
what is needed in Ottawa to build a powerful and effective movement for
change.

We will hear from Rebecca Schein about the Toronto Workers' Assembly:
http://workersassembly.ca

Using participatory meeting techniques, we will start to identify issues and
projects that we might want to undertake.

It will be a different kind of meeting. It will be a chance to build new
relationships and friendships. Come and be part of something exciting.

*NOTE:* please print and display the poster for this event, in order to give
