Reading Rainbow - First meet and greet for QT2POCs
Wednesday, May 4
3:00pm - 5:00pm
Location: Centre for Women and Trans People at York, Room 322, Student Centre

Join us for the first meeting of "Reading Rainbow: A Reading and
discussion group for Trans/Queer/2Spirit/Questioning peoples of colour and
Indigenous peoples"

We are wanting to start a very chill and fun group for Queer, Trans, 2
Spirit, Questioning peoples of colour and Indigenous peoples, where we can
get together, eat lots of great food under the sun (or inside with big
windows) and start a reading group on materials written by other amazing
QT2Q POCs and Indigenous peoples!

This first meeting will be more of a meet and greet with those who are
interested, and then with those present, we will try and figure out what
material we want to read, and hopefully figure out a schedule for readings
throughout the summer!

Food and tokens will be provided!

Both students and community members are welcome!
We will be looking into ensuring we have a wheelchair accessible space
with wheelchair accessible bathrooms.

If you or someone you know who wants to attend has any accessibility
requests, please email: aruna at opirgyork.ca

For childcare bursaries email: cwtpyork at gmail.com

The Reading Rainbow is being organized both the Centre for Women and Trans
People and the Ontario Public Interest Research Group at York University.
