People also tend not to listen to and  take students very seriously. After 
all, they have not yet achieved any real  position of power / authority that 
warrants being listened  to. 
 
Its not the level of your  formal education but the level of YOUR JOB that 
ultimately counts and  how you are judged and measured on at the end of the day.
