On Monday, May 16th, LCA led 30 protesters, including Rikki Rockett from the rock group Poison in a civil disobedience action at the Los Angeles Zoo. Linking arms to form a human chain in front of the elephant exhibit, protesters made it clear that we will not give up the fight until the zoo closes its elephant exhibit and relocates the three elephants, Ruby, Gita and Billy, to sanctuaries.
