News is being suppressed about the hunger strike started in California’s 
prison system July 1, 
protesting the conditions and use of extensive solitary confinement units. 
There’s some indication
that what are basically psychological warfare controls used at Guantanamo, 
or on U.S. detainees 
subjected to military justice, or for Canadian Security Certificate 
detainees, are being applied to 
domestic civilian prisoners in the States. As the Conservatives encourage 
the prison industry here
planners should be noted and held accountable for programs which prove 
unbearable and for the 
predictable results ?
