hey,

so i am thinking about approaching the ABC's in the states to see if it is
possible to get them on board with supporting roger in various ways. any
thoughts? this would be step one in looking for international support for
him.

i'm still not clear on what the priority for supporting roger is. in the
meantime i am trying to get people to write to him and to let people know
that he serving his sentence now. i hope that the knowledge that roger
has a number of people supporting him will be good for him as far as his
treatment by prison authorities - they will know that people are in touch
with him and will react if he is abused and such. i also hope that it
makes life a tiny bit easier for him.

i would be down for a meeting to discuss things, if others are into that.

i did start to contact some communists to try and get some support. i
only got one positive response so far - julian ichim down in K/W. i am
going to write marvin glass soon, as well as christian legeais.

not sure what claude needs - money???

i would still like to find people who can talk publicly about the case. i
won't pretend that i don't sometimes enjoy public speaking, but i don't
always, and it sometimes really takes it out of me.

and if i haven't said it, or not said it enough - thank you so much for
your support through everything.

love and solidarity,
matt
