On a du son. Y'a quelqu'un qui pourrait aller chercher le son (c'est
pas mal de stock), à 4 heures 4 heures et demai à QPIRG C ? On a pas
de DI boxes. On mettre les speakers sur des chaises sur des tables
avec du duck tape. J'ai oublié de leur demandé les pieds de micros,
mais j'en ai un.

Alain: est-ce que ca te va, est-ce que tu penses qu'on va manquer de
quelque chose ?

hey all,

i would be into doing sound for this. however, a few things should be
sorted out first:

- -logistical issue: i get off work at 4, and could be at qpirg at
4:30-4:35 to move the gear. guillaume, could someone with a car (and
maybe someone else to help carry things) meet me at qpirg at that time?

- -for the safety of the gear, i think it would be important to set the
gear up directly outside the room we are going to move it into, and
have someone other than myself close by and ready to help move it.

- -normally for a live concert i would use speaker stands but since they
can't be taken down quickly i don't think that's the best idea. are
there tables we could put the speakers on?

- -we don't have di boxes - would you be able to either track down or
rent these? i think they are available at moog, but i'm not 100% sure,
you would have to call them to be certain.

- -lastly, i would like to take into consideration the feelings of the
rest of soundteam re: submitting the gear to some level of risk.

    It would be nice as we're are sorta occupying the space. Its in
    the public space in the UQAM agora, which is totally okay to use,
    but yeah, we wanna keep the sound up and running after the
    eviction notice is dropped (after 11PM, closing time of the
    building) but a bit before the pigs hits us hard. We expect we can
    gather 500 folks for the event so we don't have to dick with the
    cops, as university wouldn't try to shutdown 500 folks watching
    live music. We'd have a liaison at all with y'all. In all case, we
    wouldn't take any risks if there is no one from yous. We have
    access to plenty of locked rooms for the student unions, so we'd
    hide the sound gear in the same pavillion during the ruckus.
