2. Bill C-4 would impose mandatory detention for at least a year on  
designated refugee claimants, as well as denying them permanent status  
for 5 years. Consider signing the attached open letter by Oct. 20,  
2011. SEND: name, status as health professional, city and email  
address to janet.cleveland at mail.mcgill.ca.
