Hey folks,

Faria Kamal has a contact who is flying to Cairo on Friday and has requested
putting together of medical supplies and monetary donations for such
supplies.
I am putting together donations from G20 Medics leftovers, and will also be
sending money. If people have supplies or money they would like to donate
please contact me via email (my phone is dead) to arrange drop off tonight
to 528 Brunswick Avenue for pick up tomorrow afternoon.

Here is an article that describes some of what the medic situation looks
like, and this is from before the new wave of police/state repression:

Below is the call out with priority supplies noted:

As I'm sure you're all acutely aware, the situation in Egypt is tremendously
inspiring, but the health scenario is very grim. My friend, Ahmed Shoukr,
who was an activist in Toronto and now editor of critical Egyptian
newspaper, Al Masry, told me that two doctors in a hospital near Tahrir
Square were shot dead by government goon squads for providing assistance to
protestors. Despite threats of death, doctors and nurses continue to service
Tahrir Square. There is a makeshift, open air 'clinic' in Tahrir Square
where 12-20 doctors have answered pleas from the protestors to assist people
who have been attacked, many facing life-threatening injuries. Cairo is
experiencing severe shortages of medical supplies at the moment and
hospitals and make shift clinics alike are saying they will run out of
supplies in the next while. I am writing to you all because I recieved a
request for medical supplies that are headed for Egypt this Friday. Please
read the note below and help if you can and please forward this request to
any medical folks who you think would be able to help support:
