*Sub: PUBLIC GRIEVANCE **
**CABST/E/2012/00216 received on 26.06.2012

*I refer to the above mentioned reference number generated in response to
my complaint against Mr. Ajit Seth (Union Cabinet Secretary).*

*It is a matter of regret that your Department / Secretariat is unable to
reply to me concerning serious allegations I made against Mr. Ajit Seth and
which I am not prepared to withdraw and am quite interested in prosecuting.

*In view of the non-reply from your side to a duly registered grievance
which is supposed to be disposed off within 2 months, I am now caused to
say that Mr.Ajit Seth is a corrupt officer and nothing but a corrupt
officer and the only reason he was appointed as the Cabinet Secretary is
because he is a dishonest person appointed to perpetuate frauds on eminent
citizens like myself and the ordinary citizens who use RTI in general.

It is certainly strange that the Cabinet Secretariat has been unable to
reply to me for over 9 months now or resolve my grievance.  It is
noteworthy that Mr. Ajit Seth had also previously ignored 2 emails of
notice I had sent him before lodging my referred public grievance.

I am therefore calling upon you to either redress my grievance forthwith by
appointing me as a Central Information Commissioner (there are 4 vacant
slots), or else grant me statutory permission / sanction to prosecute Mr
Ajit Seth under the Prevention of Corruption Act or any other similar Law.
I am now not interested in any other sham resolution which I apprehend
shall be palmed off on me to close this grievance.

I am also circulating this email to many public mailing lists so that the
public at large can know the truth behind the appointment of pliable
Central Information Commissioners who are invariably retired public
servants. It is an open secret that Mr. Basant Seth was appointed as
Information Commissioner because he was heading a Karnataka (Manipal) based
Bank and close to the Bellary Brothers who were Ms. Sushma Swaraj's
campaign managers in Karnataka at some point in time and consider her to be
their "godmother".

For your ready reference I am attaching the PDF of the present status of my
said public grievance.

Kindly acknowledge receipt of this communication and the action taken
thereon.
