MONTREAL, September 20, 2007 – Canada's new Foreign Minister, Maxime Bernier, was interrupted more than 12 times last evening as he tried to deliver a speech in support of Canada's military role in Afghanistan. Bernier was attempting to speak at the Omni Hotel in downtown Montreal, at a dinner opening the "International Conference on Canada's Mission in Afghanistan".
