There's a new family fight within...the **Vancouver and District Labour Council** [which has] voted to endorse a controversially moderate "group of seven" slate of candidates for the...executive [board] of the [Coalition] of Progressive Electors (COPE). A small group of labour radicals responded by calling the decision "a gross breach of democracy",...[T]he President of the VDLC claimed..."We are used to hearing false and outrageous accusations from personalities involved with this particular group [of radicals]." An e-mail war has broken out [between] the so-called solidarity caucus within the VDLC against B.C. labour's established leadership, and not for the first time.
