...Stephen Harper's new conservative government has announced its "new" drug policy. It is a policy which is strongly indebted for its innovativeness to the failed American model, the "War on Drugs"...[Their] proposed prevention campaign targeted at youth and their parents is reminiscent of the US-style "Just Say No" campaign...that has not worked...The drug strategy put forward by Prime Minister Harper...provides no funding or support for harm reduction measures.
