Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside is the real poor side of town and it has some major problems. There are about 3000 homeless on the eastside and some of them sleep outside. There are some that have a place to sleep inside, they call it a shelter. It is not their home but just a matt on the floor in a room with other people.
