With the issue of intellectual property rights flaring up around the globe, Canada's arts community faces its own wrinkle, as their 'representatives' in CARFAC join forces with industry groups to demand stronger copyright protection and prosecution. Meanwhile a coalition called Appropriation Art is left to articulate how these proposed changes would devastate collage art practitioners, among others. Filmmaker Jonathan Culp, a part time collage artist himself, breaks things down.
