[news] Anarchist Group Preparing Demonstration at S.P.P. Meetings

An anarchist group is planning a protest during Security and Prosperity Partnership meetings being held in Montebello, Quebec about 80 km east of Ottawa. The group called P.G.A. Bloc Ottawa is preparing demonstrations in hope of disrupting the meetings between Prime Minister Stephen Harper, U.S. President George Bush and Mexican President Felipe Calderon. The three leaders will be discussing the S.P.P at Chateau Montebello on August 20th and 21st. Quebec provincial police say people have the right to peacefully protest but they will be there to protect area residents.
