On the June 29th "Indigenous Action Day" the Canadian government had set all kinds of traps for us to fall into. We held thousands of gatherings to make our presence and issues known to the public without one act of violence...Corporate Canada tried to stir up phony accusations against Mohawk Shawn Brant of Tyendinaga...On July 5th Shawn turned himself in as he promised...He was imprisoned without bail until August 25th when he has a preliminary hearing.
