The leader of an aboriginal protest that blocked a major railway and snarled traffic on Canada’s busiest highway was denied bail Friday after a judge said there was a "substantial likelihood" he would commit further criminal acts "sooner than later"..."It would make no sense for Mr. Brant to be released on these charges given his threats of escalation," Ontario Superior Court Justice Denis Power said in his decision.
