There will be no overhead pesticide spraying on Salt Spring Island next year. The Gypsy Moth Committee, the intergovernmental body that decides what action to take vis a vis the gypsy moth, here and throughout B.C., met last week and decided against overhead pesticide spraying for Salt Spring next year.
