If you are still using mainstream disposable menstrual pads or tampons, consider that the environmental impacts are similar to drinking out of non-biodegradable styrofoam cups! Tampons and disposable menstrual products are unnecessary *trash* and if you are eco-conscious, there are environmentally friendlier options that are worth investigating and trying.
