We have become increasingly concerned by recent actions on the part of the (BC Teachers Federation) executive regarding the Palestinian/Israeli issue...If the BCTF Executive cannot determine their strategic allies in the local Jewish community, then your union and the whole trade union movement is in trouble...(W)e call upon the BCTF Executive to stand up for the genuine interests of your membership, not just minority lobbyists, and to uphold the progressive principles that your union and all Canadian unions should advance.
