U.S. Vice-President Dick Cheney postpones scheduled Alberta visit Now it may be said that it was Katrina that thwarted Cheney's attempt to take over the Alberta Tar Sands, but come to think of it where has he been for the last week? Haven't seen or heard hide nor hair of him during the disaster in New Orleans. Probably hiding in the same cave he was in after 9/11. So folks planning to protest his visit here, can rest easy for a while, but he promises to visit in the future, oh joy.
