10 Year Anniversary of Ts'Peten Standoff Anniversary Gathering September 10 & 11, 2005 @ Ts'Peten (Gustafsen Lake, BC) Six years before the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks on the USA, Native peoples in Canada faced their own `9-11' terrorist attack (by the RCMP). On Sept.11, 1995, RCMP fired tens of thousands of rounds against Secwepemc warriors, and blewup a vehicle using an explosive charge. Despite being lightly armed, warriors succeeded in disabling a Bison APC used by police. Come and honor our Native warriors who withstood the largest RCMP terrorist attack in Canadian history.
