"When Tahltan elders concerned about resource development in their area went looking for Chief Jerry Asp, they didn't expect to be kept waiting so long. But now, more than a month after they walked into the band offices in Telegraph Creek, they say they are still waiting for Mr. Asp and information on the progress of proposals for mines in a region claimed by the Tahltan in northwestern British Columbia."
