Bill C-38, the Same Sex Marriage Act, passed the house this week. It was the last act of parliament prior to the summer recess. The gnashing of teeth, whining and breast beating of the Alberta Conservatives, both provincial and Federal, both Klein and Harper, was predictable and expected. The last bastion of Republican Lite Politics, Alberta produced the usual redneck response from the usual suspects.
