"For years, a freighter called the Radium Gilbert sat rusting on the shore of Great Bear Lake. More than a half-century ago it hauled the uranium that was used to destroy Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Many of the Dene of Deline worked at the Port Radium mine on Great Bear Lake. And many of them died of cancer."
