"A critic of the Vancouver police department says he is disappointed that city council won't look at his group's recommendations to enhance police accountability. Lawyer John Richardson, executive director of the Pivot Legal Society, told the Georgia Straight that he thinks city council has the jurisdiction and responsibility to examine his group's 28-page report, 'Towards More Effective Police Oversight'.
