James Baker III was appointed by GW Bush to find ways of implementing the US foriegn policy of reducing Iraq's debt. James also just happens to be a senior partner in the Carlyle Group which stands to gain $1Billion+ from a proposal sent to the Kuwaiti government in which the group would help Kuwait maximize on the repayment of money owed to them by Iraq. Money, which without Baker's influence, would be diffficult to recover. Legal experts have called this a "classic conflict of interest" and "one of the greatest cons of all time".
