Fielding complaints about police conduct has become a routine part of Larry Wucherer's job as president of the Aboriginal Council of Winnipeg... "this is a consistent, regular thing from the community." So the council has joined forces with another community group, United Against Racism, to launch a new program aimed at monitoring police behaviour on the beat. The groups will hold a meeting Wednesday they hope will attract enough interest to spark the creation of a Winnipeg chapter of Copwatch.
