By Evelyn Leopold UNITED NATIONS, Oct 5 (Reuters) - The United States on Tuesday prepared to veto an Arab-drafted U.N. Security Council resolution demanding Israel stop a major offensive in the Gaza Strip unless the measure were changed. "I predict it will not go forward," U.S. Ambassador John Danforth told reporters. "I will bet either my left or my right arm that this resolution will not pass," he said, calling the measure one-sided and unbalanced.
