The Washington Post recently quoted the new US Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice describing Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez as 'a real problem...The key there is to mobilize the region to both watch him and be vigilant about him and to pressure him when he makes moves in one direction or another.' Rice, who served as director of Chevron for 10 years, was appointment to replace Colin Powell who was seen by Bush as being too soft. Yikes.
