JUNEAU -- The Supreme Court of Canada has ruled against the Taku River Tlingit First Nation's claims that British Columbia ignored its concerns about a proposed mine near the Alaska border. The court ruled 7-0 Thursday to reverse two lower courts' findings that British Columbia officials did not adequately consult with the Tlingits about the proposed Tulsequah Chief multi-metal mine about the potential impact on their ancestral home.
