[news] Civil Unrest Challenges China's Party Leadership

It seems there are more and more protests against the capitalist chinese state recently, maybe with the potential to coalesce into a larger attack on neoliberalism in China. It's also intersting to see how well an authoritarian state can manage rebellion in a situation like this. Normally we would think not very well (relying too much on outright repression), compared to liberal western goverments, but the chinese state is more flexible than this assumption allows -CONTRIBUTOR.
