VANCOUVER - An extensive external investigation of Vancouver's 1998 "Riot at 
the Hyatt" has concluded that the police behaved appropriately that night. 
Protesters were injured and arrested in the clash outside a federal Liberal 
Party $400-a-plate dinner, featuring then-prime minister Jean Chretien.
