International Committee for the Defence of Azmi Bishara At noon, 3rd July, 
2004, Azmi Bishara, a member of Israeli Knesset, began a hunger strike in 
protest against the Israeli government's construction of the separation wall in 
the occupied West Bank and in the surrounding areas of Jerusalem.
