By GARY LEUPP Former CIA officer Robert Baer recalls that a bombing during (the 
early 1990's) "blew up a school bus; schoolchildren were killed." In the 
mid-1990s, Baghdad claimed that terrorists had exploded a bomb in a movie 
theater, producing many civilian casualties; CIA officials state that (Iyad) 
Allawi's group was the only such organization engaging in bombings and sabotage 
at that time. It almost sounds as if the new Prime Minister has a background in 
terrorism.
