[news] Refugees on hunger strike and camp-out in front of IRB offices in Montreal

Members of the Human Rights Action Committee, a self-organized group of mainly Punjabi refugees, are maintaining a 4-day, 3-night rotating hunger strike outside the offices of the Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB) in Montreal. Protesters are camping outdoors in the sub-zero temperatures, and have burned documents to protest the "racist and incomptent" IRB.
