I don't know if I know Matt or not, because I don't know a lot of people's last names. But if he is a certain Matt from Ottawa, then he does loads of solidarity work with Indigenous folks and has radical left wing politics. I have never met him per se, but have noticed on-line that he does a lot. If you want I could see if folks do know him and what he's like. Sorry for taking a while to get back to you Stéfanie on this.

Thanks for getting that discretionary funding for translating. Even though its just $50, it something. I would be able to match this. So now we have a $100. Sounds good? We can possibly ask QPRIG Concordia as well. For the translation(s) we should have them oral and  written if possible. Written so that people could present them to the different Native Brotherhoods and Native Sisterhoods in the federal prisons across canada.


I think that a local meeting for a "letter of intent" (and text for an ad) would be appropriate - would anyone be game for getting together on this say next week sometime? 


I think it would be a good time to get the ball rolling.
