ORGANIZE AGAINST THE REPRESSION IN ATENCO!

On May 3-4, the Mexican government and its state apparatus launched a brutal
attack on the community of Atenco in response to flower vendors of organizing
against an eviction.  There are over 250 people detained, some of have been shot
to death and others have sustained serious injuries. The repression against the
community of San Salvador Atenco is repression against all the peoples of
Mexico, their struggle is our struggle, the struggle of the Other Campaign
throughout the world. 

Organizations in Vancouver have come together as “The Other Campaign-Vancouver
and Organizations in Solidarity with Atenco”. We invite you to the picket this
MONDAY May 15 AT 11 AM AT MEXICAN CONSULATE (1177 W. Hastings)
& in the same day at 6 PM We invite you to a public organizing meeting AT MOSAIC
(1720 Grant Street, corner Commercial Drive)
to strengthen our cultures of resistance. For land, liberty, and dignity, the
people´s struggle will triumph!
