Hi everyone.

Tomorrow (May 17th) is Provincial Election Day!

The polls will be open from 8am to 8pm.

Remember to get out and VOTE.

When you go to vote, you will receive two ballots. One ballot will be for the provincial election while the other ballot will be for the referendum on electoral reform. (the BC-STV system as recommended by the Citizen's Assembly)

Information on where to vote is included on the "Where to Vote" infromation cards that Elections BC has sent to registered voters.

If you are not registered to vote, you can still register on election day at your polling station as long as you:

1) Are a Canadian Citizen
2) Are 18 years of age or older
3) Have been a resident of BC for at least 6 months

You need to bring two pieces of identification showing, in combination, your name, address, and signature. To find out where your local polling station is, you can visit http://ebc.barrodale.com/voter/edfinder.htm, or call Elections BC at 1-800-661-8683. The hours of operation for the phone number are 8am to 8pm.

Also, if you are already registered but at a different addres, you can update your information at the time of voting by bringing the two pieces of identification, showing, in combination, your name, address, and signature.

If you are unable to attend your local polling station, you may still cast an absentee ballot on Election Day at any other polling station in the province, which may be located either inside or outside of ones home constituency.
Remember - GET OUT AND VOTE!!
