VANCOUVER-KINGSWAY NDP CONDEMNS
BC FEDERATION OF LABOUR LEADERSHIP’S INTERVENTION ON HEU STRIKE

The Vancouver-Kingsway NDP Executive condemns the general inaction of the
BC Federation of Labour leadership during the three years of Campbell
government and their recent failure to give full support to the valiant HEU
fight against privatization and cutbacks.  The BC Fed leaders’ intervention
in the HEU/BC Liberal dispute stifled the first significant collective
response to a government that has attacked this province in ways that are
devastating and unprecedented.
