I met one of the organizers of this Day of Action at the peace rally this weekend. Access to information about abortion is being undermined with the closing of many women's centers across the province. We still, even after all these years, need to support and speak out about women's right to choice.

      Join the "Clothesline Project" Together 

      In Solidarity with other Women 

      To Raise Our Voices and Spread 

      Awareness About Our 

      Reproductive Rights!


      The "Clothesline Project" is a Pro-Choice action group started by the Vancouver Women's Health Collective and supported by the Pro-Choice Action Network. 

      Join other women for a strong and united voice on reproductive choice. Come and write down your reasons for being pro-choice on a piece of cloth and hang it up on our clothesline. In addition to the clothesline, an information table will be on site to raise awareness about our reproductive rights and access issues. 

      Date: Saturday, March 27 (In case of rain, alternate date set for 

      Sunday, March 28).

      Time: 12:00 noon to 2:00pm.

      Location: Corner of Commercial and Broadway (northeast corner).
