The Kern County Coroner's office just confirmed Asuncion
Valdivia, 53, died July 18 from extreme heat after 10 hours
picking table grapes at Giumarra Vineyards Corp. A company
foreperson cancelled a call for paramedics who might have saved
his life.

  Please help the UFW urge growers to prevent further tragic
