What better day than a May Day to celebrate the fightback that the Hospital
Employees Union [HEU] is making possible for all British Columbians.
What better day than a May Day to celebrate the active solidarity that CUPE,
the FERRY WORKERS, the TRANSIT WORKERS, the TEACHERS, and others are giving
the HEU.
What better day than a May Day to invoke the words "GENERAL STRIKE"
strengthened by BC's massive rejection of the corporate agenda.
SEE YOU TOMORROW SATURDAY MAY 1st.
THE MARCH STARTS AT 11 AM
AT THE QUEEN ELIZABETH PLAZA
(CORNER OF GEORGIA AND HAMILTON)
AND ENDS AT THE VANCOUVER ART GALLERY
(750 HORNBY STREET)
AT 1 P.M. WHEN THE RALLY WILL TAKE PLACE.
This May Day we renew our commitment to join with our HEU sisters and
brothers in walking the picket line.
This May Day we pledge to not stop until the friends of big money who sit in
the Legislature back down.
AND AFTER THE RALLY?
TO THE PICKET LINES,
OVER THE WEEKEND AND BEYOND.
