 The Vancouver and District Labour Council, Capilano College's Labour
 Studies Programme, ThinkCity, and the BCYT Building Trades Council
 invite
 you to a special half-day workshop to develop a "people's strategy" to
 address some important issues in the period leading up to the 2010
 Olympic
 Games in Vancouver.
 
 The object of the workshop is to produce a "discussion paper" on our
 ideas
 on how to hold a "people's games".
 
 This event will present speakers and workshops on issues important to
 the
 creation of positions in support of a responsible, locally accountable
 Olympic Games.
 
 These include:
 
    a.. labour, skills training, safety, fair wages
    b.. environment
    c.. ethical Olympics
    d.. security and human rights
    e.. accountability
    f.. globalization and corporate Olympics
    g.. aboriginal issues
